Violin and Piano Teacher

Valtie is passionate about teaching violin and piano and passing her love of music on to her students. She holds a Masters degree as well as a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance from Trinity College of Music, both with First Class.

She incorporates principles from a number of teaching methods tailored to each individuals needs and learning style in order to give pupils a rounded musical education. She strives to provide a patient and supportive environment for her students in which they can be nurtured and develop a high level of musicianship and a love of music.

She is experienced at teaching pupils of all ages and standards, her youngest pupils currently being 4 years old, up to music college entrance auditions and beyond. The only requirement is an eagerness to learn and a commitment to private practice between lessons.

Valtie is available to teach violin from beginner up to advanced level and piano up to approx. grade 5 standard. She also incorporates teaching music theory into the lessons.

She has an up to date CRB check available on request.

Valtie teaches at her home in Charlton, South East London SE7.
